When it was time to obtain certification of their Quality and Security Management Systems, SITA chose to work with Bureau Veritas Certification based on an analysis of all it had to offer in terms of knowledge, experience and reputation for independence.

SITA obtained ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification with Bureau Veritas Certification. Certification for Quality Management encompasses all the design, distribution and management activities performed by SITA and the scope of Certification for Information Security Management extends to Network Operation Center and Security Operation Center service management. SITA provides high added value communication services in the field of ICT. The management of such a complex type of service in this sensitive sector translates into a high demand for both quality and security.

These same demands are reflected in the requirements for inclusion on the vendor lists of clients such as airlines, airports, government bodies and cargo carriers, or for submitting bids in international tender processes. ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 Certification with Bureau Veritas Certification ensure SITA’s inclusion in these and broadens the horizon for international business in general.

Certification has opened more business opportunities at the European level, especially in cases when ISO 9001 and/or ISO 27001 certification are  prerequisites.
