    Bureau Veritas Certification Finland is looking for a freelance/non-exclusive
    ASC Farm and/or GlobalGAP Aquaculture LEAD AUDITOR

    THE REQUIREMENTS

    As a freelance/non-exclusive Lead Auditor working on behalf of Bureau Veritas, you will be responsible for managing audits within the standards of Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) and GlobalGAP, evaluating compliance against the defined requirements and delivering results in accordance with set schedules and deadlines. The position requires traveling as your customers will be located in the Nordic countries.

    Ideally, you are qualified in ASC Farm and/or GlobalGAP standard and can perform audits independently. You have a master’s degree (or similar post degree) in food, but preferably in Aquaculture. It is a requirement for the position that you have passed food safety training (like ISO 22000 lead auditor – IRCA) and have a minimum of 2-4 years’ work experience as employee with a management system responsibility at a fish factory / fish farming company.

    You have relevant knowledge of environmental monitoring tools and technologies; critical aspects of operational processes, products and services; Nordic legislation related to environment, licenses and permits, and the laws governing ownership and use of land and water.

    As a third party auditor you will have a questioning attitude, ability to quickly identify issues and report them in a consultative manner. You will have excellent communication skills, good IT knowledge and high level of professional integrity and ability to organize and manage your time.

    Freelancer/non-exclusive availability to carry out audits (days per month / days per year) is open to negotiation and is expected to range from a few days to full time availability in a certain month.

    The Requirement

    As a freelance/non-exclusive Lead Auditor working on behalf of Bureau Veritas, you will be responsible for managing audits within the quality standards of chemical and related industry, evaluating compliance against the defined requirements and delivering results in accordance with set schedules and deadlines. The position requires fluent Swedish language skills as your customers will mainly be located on the coast of Western Finland.

    Ideally, you are qualified in at oil and paint industry standards and/or laboratory settings and can perform audits independently. Other experience is considered as an advantage. You have a master’s degree (or similar post degree) in chemistry. It is a requirement for the position that you have passed IRCA training, at least ISO 9001:2015. ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 are desirable. You have relevant knowledge of industrial monitoring tools and technologies; critical aspects of operational processes, products and services; and Finnish legislation related to chemicals, licenses and permits. We also appreciate experience in gas industry.
