    Bureau Veritas Certification Finland is looking for Chemical and related industry LEAD AUDITOR either to an employment relationship or on a freelance/non-exclusive contract.

    Principal duties and responsibilities

    As a Lead Auditor working for or on behalf of Bureau Veritas, you will be responsible for managing audits within the quality standards of chemical and related industry, evaluating compliance against the defined requirements and delivering results in accordance with set schedules and deadlines. The position requires fluent Finnish language skills and preferably also Swedish language skills as your customers will mainly be located on the coast of Western Finland.

    Ideally, you are qualified in at oil and paint industry standards and/or laboratory settings and can perform audits independently. Experience gained from gas industry, paper and packaging industry, and/or construction, is considered as an advantage.

    You have a master’s degree (or similar post degree) in chemistry. It is preferred for the position that you have passed IRCA training, at least ISO 9001:2015. ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 are desirable. You have relevant knowledge of industrial monitoring tools and technologies; critical aspects of operational processes, products and services; and Finnish legislation related to chemicals, licenses and permits. We also appreciate experience in gas industry.

    As a third party auditor you will have a questioning attitude, ability to quickly identify issues and report them in a consultative manner. You will have excellent communication skills, good IT knowledge and high level of professional integrity and ability to organize and manage your time.
